FAQs

EZ Dumpster Rentals, LLC

  • What size dumpster do I need?

We provide two dumpster sizes suitable for most residential and light commercial applications: 15-yard and 20-yard units. The 15-yard dumpster works well for smaller projects including single-room cleanouts such as garages, basements, or attics, small bathroom or kitchen remodels, deck or fence removal, and yard debris cleanup. This size holds approximately 7–8 pickup truck loads of debris. The 20-yard dumpster is designed for medium to larger projects such as whole-home or estate cleanouts, multi-room renovations, roofing jobs for standard homes, large deck or shed demolition, and new construction debris. This larger unit accommodates roughly 10–12 pickup truck loads of debris.
  • How much does it cost?

Our short-term rental pricing includes delivery, pickup, and disposal of the dumpster contents. Four factors determine the final cost: dumpster size (15-yard versus 20-yard), weight (the base price covers up to 2 tons of debris, with additional weight charged at $50 per ton as verified by landfill dump tickets), rental duration (extensions beyond your initial period cost $75 per day, subject to availability), and distance (customers within Canyon, Ada, or Payette counties pay no extra distance fees, while locations outside these counties may incur a fuel surcharge of $0.75 per mile).
  • How long can I keep it?

Standard rental durations range from 1 to 7 days for short-term needs, with monthly options also available. Should you require the dumpster beyond your initial rental period, contact us to verify availability for an extension.
  • What can/can't I put in the dumpster?

We cannot accept hazardous waste, dirt, sod, rock, gravel, or concrete unless specifically approved in advance. Acceptable materials include small to medium appliances, household garbage, construction waste, yard waste, small to medium furniture, and similar items. Please refer to our junk we haul page for comprehensive details on acceptable materials.
  • Where can I put it and do I need a permit?

Placement on your private property, such as your driveway, does not require a permit. However, if the dumpster must be positioned on a public street, sidewalk, or other public property, you will need to obtain a right of way traffic permit. Some neighborhoods also maintain HOA regulations regarding dumpster placement that should be reviewed before scheduling delivery.
  • Do I need to be available for delivery?

Your presence during delivery is not required, though we do need clear placement instructions. We recommend marking your preferred location with a sign to ensure accurate placement of the dumpster.
